Virtual Book Club Inauguration Ceremony
In order to help children to be at a platform where they can discuss books, stories, poems, book reviews and authors, the Virtual Book Club was formed. It was inaugurated on 4 April, 2021 by renowned Science fiction writer, Devendra Mewari ji. He combined literature and science and discussed many concepts of nature with children. It was a very interactive session. Children were very motivated by him to read books.
Virtual Book club - Author talk
It was World Laughter Day and the eminent author Ramendra Kumar made the session very lively with his great sense of humour. Children of the Virtual Book Club had a great opportunity to have a discussion with Ramendra ji. They had a great time with him. He talked about the writing process and how to make the stories interesting. He shared his own writing journey and motivated children to write whatever they want. Overall an enriching session for each one of us present there.
Author talk- A conversation with an eminent story-writer and novelist Sanjeev kumar 'Sanjay'
It was a great time for children of 'Virtual book Club' to interact with the eminent author and novelist Sanjeev Jaiswal ‘Sanjay’. Children had so many questions. Some of the questions were so amusing. Sanjeev ji told about his achievements and his journey of writing so many books. It was an enriching experience for children.
A talk show with Ms. Shanaya
It was a great pleasure to have Ms. Shanaya for the talk-show at the Virtual Book Club. She recited a sweet Hindi poem, sang a medley of songs and narrated a story 'The postman' written by Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore. We were really amazed to see her storytelling skills. She motivated the children present over there by her talk. She shared how she could manage so many activities in a day by just simply following her time-table. Thank you Ms. Her mother, Rajashri Singh shared her valuable tips on parenting.
It was a pleasure to host Ms. Suman Bajpai, an eminent editor, translator, writer and travel journalist at our Virtual Book Club. She told them about her experience in translation and editing work. She also told them a funny story written by her. She kept the children enthralled throughout the session.
It was our great pleasure and honour to host an eminent editor, renowned writer and journalist Shri Pankaj Chaturvedi for an author talk at our Virtual book Club
He shared his views on environmental issues. Children were filled with awe to know about his writings and the work done by him as a writer and journalist.
It was a great experience for children.
