Reading and comprehending stories and poems

Nirmal Bhartia School, Dwarka (New Delhi)

For the promotion and development of languages, Nirmal Bhartia School, Dwarka, under the reading project, introduces students to different genres of Hindi and English. In this series, every year they invite celebrities related to the fields of literature, writing, editing, storytelling, etc. to share their experiences, through which students get knowledge of reading skills.

Hindi reading and comprehension activities were organized on 11 May, 2023 in which students were exposed to a Hindi poem/ a song written by Ms. Usha Chhabra. A story was told with facial expressions and voice modulation. Children were told the techniques of reading and comprehending a picture book.
